Sometimes I just need to understand that most people have different politics than I do, and that I'm not in this role to explain my politics and beliefs to them. I think this is particularly prominent in gender-related issues. I get really pissed without sufficient empathy taking into account of the fact that it is fine to stick to social norms as long as they don't try to actively disrupt others. Moving between extremes has been normality to me for quite a while and I'm tired of it. &
